Youth Leadership Summit

IBE recognizes the need to prepare our youth to effectively work with diverse populations and the need to increase the representation of positive images of the youth in today’s society. This 3-day annual leadership summit helps Indiana middle and high school students become more aware of STEM-related careers and college curriculum, have a better understanding of how they can play a role in the community affecting change and leave the Summit with an increased awareness of the principles of leadership and civic responsibility. 

YLS is a statewide youth leadership conference that gives youth a platform to learn from professionals regarding academics, decision-making, and advocacy. Indiana Black Expo is committed to being a catalyst in promoting positive, relevant content to our youth for academic and social success.
