Exhibition Hall

The Summer Celebration Exhibition Hall encapsulates the spirit and cultural richness of the African American community through a diverse array of activities and programs. The Exhibition Hall offers a unique opportunity to engage with the over 300 Black-owned businesses, learn about the valuable resources from large corporations and key stakeholders, while enjoying an atmosphere of music, fashion and interactive activities.

Boxing

The IBE Midwest Invitational Boxing Showcase is a dual competition between top amateur boxers from teams across Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Texas, and Tennessee. The dual competition will bring boxers from all weight classes.

Fashion Show

IBE’s Fashion Show showcases some of the best of the best in the fashion industry. Dozens of models of all ages and experience will utilize IBE’s Fashion Show to build their portfolios and highlight top brands in the industry.

Man Made Improv

The Made Man Improv Show is making its return to the IBE Summer Celebration! This high quality, unorthodox, hilarious variety show is hosted by J. Bland Made Man. This experience is filled with unscripted improv games, comical sketches, interactive crowd participation, and the best music voyages with DJ Boogie Bang. This one-of-a kind improv show is full of culture, community and laughs on top of laughs. This year’s show has been curated and hand crafted for people of all ages with our city’s teens as the focal point. Join the festivities as we dive into this family friendly version of The Made Man Improv Show.

Textures Institute of Cosmetology Hair Competition

Join us for a journey of creativity and fierce competition as top beauticians and barbers go head-to-head in a themed battle of style. It’s not just about skill — it’s about capturing the essence of elegance. Who will rise above the rest, claim the crown, and walk away with the $1,000 grand prize?

We begin and end our celebration with praise! Prepare to be uplifted by the soul-stirring rhythms and heavenly melodies IBE’s Gospel Explosion! Join us for an electrifying celebration of faith and community as talented choirs, and dynamic entertainers come together to ignite spirits and light up hearts. From traditional hymns to contemporary praise, experience the power of gospel music like never before in an unforgettable explosion of joy, love, and divine inspiration.
